Jody "JoJo" Lynn Potts, 57, of Bradley and formerly of Clifton passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital in Palos Heights.  She was born on March 31, 1966 in Blue Island, the daughter of Mac and Susan (Russell) Kent.  She married Gregory Potts in Las Vegas on June 27, 1998 and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2017.  She was also preceded in death by her mother. 

Surviving are her father, Mac Kent of Bradley; children, Robyn (Timothy) Tice of Waterman, Katie Wages of Ashkum, Michelle (Jeffrey) Golden of Bronson, Michigan and Colton Potts of Ashkum; five grandchildren, Sophia and Cecilia Tice, Samuel, Emelia and Eleanor Golden; two sisters, Jackie (John) Hammond of Bradley and Sandra (Rick) Birch of Bourbonnais.

Jody was an avid Cubs fan.  She loved music, going to concerts and flowers.  Jody also loved being a Nana to her grandchildren and she cherished family gatherings. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2024 at ReNew Church, 1085 Mulligan Dr., Bradley, Illinois.  Minister Kevin Brackney will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the 5:00 p.m. service.  Burial will be at a later date in Glen Cemetery in Paxton. 

Memorials may be made to ReNew Church or American Diabetes Association.
