Nancy K. Hauptli, 86, of Fairbury and formerly of Cissna Park, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home in Fairbury.  She was born on January 9, 1938 in Cissna Park a daughter of Solomon and Kathryn (Fehr) Farney.  Nancy married Wayne E. Hauptli in Cissna Park on August 18, 1957 and he preceded her death on March 29, 2005.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.    

Survivors include one daughter, Jill (Tom) Kaeb of Cissna Park; one son, Duane Hauptli of Austin, TX; one sister, Myrna Farney of Cissna Park; one brother, Gerry Farney of Cissna Park; four grandchildren, Alex (Agnes) Kaeb, Alysia Huber (Mike Seeley), Ashlyn (Dakota) Tucker, and Shane (Crystal Hale) Hauptli; five great-grandchildren, Carson and Aubrey Huber, Eloise Tucker, Summer and Jaxon Hauptli and Sofia Kaeb.

Nancy was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Cissna Park and was a dedicated caretaker to her husband for many years.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church in Cissna Park with ministers of the church officiating.  Burial will follow at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Cissna Park.   Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 am on Saturday at church.

Memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Nursing Home in Fairbury.
