Dellos W. Bruens, 82, of Cissna Park passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at his home.  He was born on October 28, 1941 in Watseka, the son of Arthur and Hilda (Tobeck) Bruens.  He married Linda Brown in Woodworth on June 20, 1965.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Bruens of Cissna Park; two sons, David (Stacie) Bruens of Cissna Park and Darren (Jodee) Bruens of Cissna Park; four grandchildren, Bryce, Brayden, Austin, and Autumn; one brother, Delbert (Ann) Bruens of Paxton; one sister in law, Rosemary Bruens of Watseka; and his special dog, Lilly.

He was preceded in passing by his parents and three brothers.

Mr. Bruens was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church – Ash Grove, where he served in several offices and capacities.  He was a lifelong agricultural and dairy farmer in the Cissna Park area.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at St. John’s Lutheran Church – Ash Grove.  Rev. Dale Fjordbotten will officiate.  Burial in the church cemetery will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 am on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at church.

Arrangements are being handled by Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church – Ash Grove or Iroquois Memorial Hospice.
