Karen J. Rogers, 84, of Chebanse passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

Karen was born on December 3, 1939 in Chebanse, the daughter of Frank and Florence (Aderson) Nottke and they preceded her in death along with 2 brothers, Leonard Nottke and Wayne Nottke, and one sister, Norma Jean Papineau.

She is survived by one son, Kerk Rogers; one daughter, Tammy (Chris) Mead; one step-son, Keith Rogers; four grandchildren, Cody Rogers, Courtney (Nick Ippert) Mead, Chloe Mead, and Abigail Mead; one great-granddaughter, Lydia Kay Ippert; and one brother, Larry (Sharon) Nottke of Limestone.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church in Chebanse.

Memorials may be made to the family’s wishes.
