Terry D. Sather, 71, of Martinton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at his home. He was born on September 7, 1951, in Everett, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sim Clifford and Fern Maxine (Smith) Sather, and one brother, Lynn Sather.

Terry married Mary Anne Strom on August 3, 1974, in Donovan, Illinois, and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Meagan (Eric) Ceci of Crescent City and Abby Sather of Martinton; one grandson, Bertie Ceci; and one sister, Donna (Robert) Flesher of Watseka.

Terry was an active member of Trinity Church in Watseka. He was also an active member of the Retired Postmasters Association. His hobbies included landscaping, spending time with Jimmy, his Yorkie, and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Trinity Church in Watseka, Illinois, with Pastor Ryan Mustered officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the Prairie Dell Cemetery near Iroquois.
