Tammy Brandenburg, 56, of Sheldon passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at her home. She was born on October 26, 1966 in Watseka, the daughter of William and Nancy (Giroux) McConnell and they preceded her in death in addition to one brother, Doug McConnell.

She married Dale Brandenburg on August 3, 1985 in Sheldon and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Travis Brandenburg (Niccole Howe) of Watseka and Matthew (John) Powelson of Missouri; one daughter, Lacy Brandenburg (David Martin) of Sheldon; three grandchildren, Destani Brown, Talon and Sophia Brandenburg; two sisters, Amy Watkins of Sheldon and Suzie McConnell of Piper City; two sisters-in-law, Vickie Harwood of Sheldon and Laurie Ramsey of Watseka; one brother-in-law, Melvin Brandenburg of Sheldon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka with Joe Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at the Sheldon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
