Sandra K. Brough, 72, of Chebanse passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL. She was born on May 27, 1950 in Chicago, the daughter of Bernard Phelan and Maude Kibbons. She married Donald E. Brough in Kankakee on October 12, 1974 and he preceded her in passing on July 31, 2022.
Surviving are one daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Silcox of Cedar Rapids, IA; one son, Daniel (Nicole) Brough of Clifton; three grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, and Joel Silcox of Cedar Rapids, IA; and one sister, Patsy Landwehr of Arizona.
Sandra was preceded in passing by her husband, Donald; parents; one brother, Roy Spenard; and two sisters, Ida Porterfield and Paula Tegg.
Mrs. Brough enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. A 7:00 pm service will immediately take place following the visitation with Rev. Marsha Collins officiating at Knapp Funeral Home.
The family requests that for anyone that would like, to please wear Cubs gear in Sandra’s honor.
A private burial will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood following the services.
