Betty J. White, 87, of Sheldon passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at her home. She was born March 11, 1935 in Morocco, IN, the daughter of Randolph August and Geneva Mae (Duzenberry) Lade and they preceded her in death. She married Harry White Sr. on December 6, 1952 in Sheldon and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2007. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by five children, Harry (Leslie) White Jr. of Watseka, Cynthia (Mark) Skowronski of Essex, Rebecca A. Darrough of Sheldon, Donald E. (Kimberly) White of Bourbonnais and Angela L. Pitsenberger of Sheldon; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Betty was a member of the Sheldon United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, creating beautiful original works of art, crafts, handiwork, puzzles, and writing poems. Betty loved her family and taking care of her children and grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Liberty Cemetery in Iroquois.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Family’s Wishes or Donor’s Choice.
