Bernice Weber, 79, of Piper City passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at her residence.

Bernice was born on August 3, 1943 in Bradley, the daughter of Earl and Lottie (Fritz) Hansen and they preceded her in death. She married Ivan “Sonny” Weber on June 1, 1963 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Piper City and he preceded her in death on August 7, 2019. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Herbert; one sister, Patricia; one son, Michael Weber; and one daughter, Carolyn Weber.

She is survived by one daughter, Joanne Kelly of Rantoul; two sisters, Kathy Rissky of Kankakee and Bea Reck of Kankakee; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Weber of Uniontown, OH; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Bernice was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Piper City.

A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Piper City. Fr. Marek Herbut will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the Mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Parish Hall. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Piper City.
