Joyce M. Pool, 88, of Onarga passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Faith Place in Danforth. She was born on July 21, 1934 in the Ash Grove Twp., a daughter of Herman and Martha (Joergens) Seggebruch and they preceded her in death. Joyce married Dale Pool on May 28, 1955 in Ash Grove and he survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Barb (Jerry) Nims of Onarga and Sherrie (Gary) Dietz of Gilman; one son, Steve (Diane) Pool of Onarga; six grandchildren, Jake (Dawn) Nims, Leslie (Phil) Laycock, Brian (Kelsie) Pool, Shelisa (Andy) Henrichs, Mark (Sarah) Dietz, and Scott (Jaye) Dietz; one sister, LaWanda Schuette of Cissna Park; and several nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Ash Grove. She was an active member of the Ford-Iroquois Extension. Joyce especially loved watching her grandchildren in various sports throughout the years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga with Rev. Michael Ruhlig officiating. Burial will follow in the Onarga Cemetery in Onarga. Visitation will be two hours prior beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Memorials may be given to the Donor’s Choice.
