Mariann H. Seibring, 95, of Watseka passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at her home.
Mary was born on August 5, 1927 in Donovan, the daughter of Leonard and Edna (Blakley) Houghton and they preceded her in death. She married Earl T. Seibring on August 14, 1944 in Peoria and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1985. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and Steven; her brother, Leon “Tough” Houghton; and her sister, Betty Webster.
She is survived by seven daughters, Sheryl (Don) Hemp of Watseka; Rebecca (the late Kenny) Millsap of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Jo (Frank) Mucci of Springboro, OH, Elizabeth Hawthorne of Bloomington, Julia Duncan of Manteno, Jennifer Marcotte of Atlanta, GA, and Natalie (Ted) Meyer of Nashville, TN; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was a member of Centennial Christian Church in Watseka as well as Ford-Iroquois Home Extension. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, reading, crocheting, knitting, and hand crafts.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois with Joe Hughes officiating. The family will welcome guests at her home following the service.
