Rose M. Langellier, 71, of Stockland, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at her home.

She was born on December 6, 1950 in Lafayette, IN, the daughter of Raymond and Maudie Gunn Jones. They preceded her in death in 1954 and 1989, respectively. Her mother married Charles Scott in 1956, who was her ‘Pop’ until his death in 1990.

Rose married Gerald (Jerry) Langellier on June 16, 1988 in Pine Village, IN. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2013.

Rose is survived by four children and nine grandchildren: Brad (Jamie) Denham (their children Kelsey, Kodey, Kohle and Chase) of Chesterfield, SC; Jessica (Cory) Birch (their children Devon and Ryan) of Milford; Andrea Langellier (spouse Jimmy Craighead and son Luke Donaldson) of Watseka, and Jason (Stacy) Langellier (their children Alice and Mallory) of Stockland. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, siblings Russell Jones, Roy Jones and Ruth Miller, all of Indiana, and several sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Rose will be remembered for baking and decorating countless birthday and wedding cakes over a span of 56 years. She also enjoyed reading, mowing and watching westerns.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Brent Zastrow will officiate. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford as well as one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
