Dorothy Jane Beishuizen, 94, of Cissna Park passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Iroquois Resident Home in Watseka. She was born on February 25, 1928 in Danforth, the daughter of Samuel and Emma (Zeedyk) Perzee. She married Richard “Jack” Beishuizen of Chicago, on September 20, 1947 in Danforth and he preceded her in passing on May 16, 1995.
Surviving are one daughter, Jacqueline (Daniel) Hamrick of Cissna Park; two sons, Robert (Donna) Beishuizen of The Villages, FL and Ronald (Christine) Beishuizen of Crete, IL; five grandchildren, Robert Jr, Brent Richard, Stacie Linn, Scott Richard, and Amy Jacqueline; nine great grandchildren; and one sister in law, Aldine Perzee of Danforth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; four brothers, Delmar, Melvin, Henry, and Donald; and six sisters, Helen, Mary, Florence, Lillian, Ruth, and Marilyn.
Mrs. Beishuizen was a member of Cissna Park United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader who loved to entertain family and friends, and especially enjoyed wintering with her Lincolnshire Estate family in Largo, FL.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Cissna Park United Methodist Church. Pastor Ashley Clifton will officiate. Burial will follow at Cissna Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at church on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 11:00-1:00 pm.
