Alan Leonard Sams, 61, of Watseka passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Momence Meadows Nursing Center in Momence. He was born on December 19, 1960 in Chicago, the son of Clinton Sams and Shirley Jabczynski. He was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving are his mother, Shirley Jabczynski of Watseka; one son, Nigel Alan Sams of Dayton, OH; one daughter, Nicole Marie Sams of Midlothian, IL; and two grandchildren.

Cremation rites are being handled by Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
