Ryan Evans Durflinger, 22, of Watseka passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Watseka. He was born on May 25, 2000, the son of Brent Evans Durflinger and Jessica Sue Long.

He is survived by his loyal dog, Lucy; maternal grandmother, Karen (Alvin “Bud”) York of Watseka; maternal grandfather, Joe Long of Watseka; paternal grandfather, Dale (Connie) Durflinger of Watseka; two brothers, Brandon Durflinger of Watseka and Brayden Durflinger of Arkansas; uncle, Jason (Candice) Long of Woodland; cousins, Melodee, Brylee, and Maxx Long of Woodland; uncle, Dale Jr. (Jeanna) Durflinger of Watseka; uncle, Colin Durflinger of Watseka; cousins, Skylee and Dayton Durflinger; father, Brent Durflinger of Watseka; mother, Jessica Long of Texas; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Ryan was preceded in death by one uncle, Randy Durflinger and one aunt, Shelly Durflinger.

He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. Ryan loved RC cars, playing pool, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He worked at Watseka Suzuki Honda and loved family get togethers where he was known to eat all the food there.

Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Pastor Joe Hughes will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.
