Geraldine Marie Kraft Speares, 87, of Gilman passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her son, William’s home. She was born on September 22, 1934 in Gilman, the daughter of Leroy and Margaret (Conrad) Hoover and they preceded her in death. Geraldine married Duane Kraft on June 11, 1955 in Gilman and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2004. In 2008, she married Tom Speares in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Geraldine is survived by her husband, Tom Speares of Gulfport, MS; two sons, William (Wendy) Kraft of Gilman and Bob (Julie) Kraft of Gilman; one daughter, Rhonda (Doug) Sager of Charleston; one sister, Shirley Dupuis of Gibson City; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Cremation rites have been accorded by the Knapp-Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman and services will be held at a later date.
