Roland L. Folkert, 77 of Cissna Park passed away on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at Advent Health Heart of Florida in Haines City, FL. He was born on October 30, 1944 in Holland, MI, a son of Leonard and Ann (Veldhoff) Folkert. Roland married Loretta C. McCarty in Watseka on December 24, 2003 and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters- Lisa (Randy) Brinks of Holland, MI and Tammy (Jeff) Siegers of Holland, MI; one son- Norman (Amillia) Folkert of Catlin; six step children- Ron (Ida) Chance of Kinmundy, Gary (Michelle) Chance of Bellvue, NE, Brenda (Jim) Harris of Colorado Springs, CO, Barb (Doug) Pool on Onarga, Belinda (Myron) Rust of Buckley, and Chrissy (Jay) Ashline of Onarga; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters- Karen (Dave) Vanderhaar of Holland, MI and Barb (Glen) Mayard of Holland, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and one step son- David Chance.

Roland enjoyed camping, going to tractor shows, and was a lifetime truck driver.

Visitation will be on Friday January 7, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga. Graveside services will be on Friday January 7 at 1:30 pm at Del Rey Cemetery in Del Rey.
