Roger Lee Hanford Sr, 67 of Kentland, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 near Iroquois. He was born on January 18, 1954 in Watseka, the son of Vernon W. and Marie (Watts) Hanford and they preceded him in death along with his son, Roger Lee “Cricket” Hanford Jr.
Surviving Roger is his sister, Susan Hanford of Watseka; one brother, Vernon Hanford, Jr. of Watseka; and several nephews and nieces, including his niece, Stacey Boyd of Watseka.

Roger enjoyed raising and selling animals. He was a tobacco farmer and was a self-employed contractor.

A memorial service and burial will be held at Ridgeland Twp Cemetery in Thawville at later date.

Memorials may be made to the Iroquois County Animal Rescue (ICARe) in Iroquois.

Arrangements are being handled by the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
