Betty E. Luecke, 90, of Sheldon passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Iroquois Resident Home in Watseka. She was born on July 26, 1931 in Watseka, the daughter of Robert and Dolly (Carpenter) Barr and they preceded her in death. Betty married Norman L. Luecke on October 2, 1955 in Sheldon and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2003. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Betty is survived by three sons, Douglas Luecke of Sheldon, Gary (Nancy) Luecke of Sheldon, and Randy Luecke of Iroquois; three grandchildren, Loyal (Brian) Anderson, Kristina (Ryan) Busick, and Andrew (Lauren) Luecke; and eight great-grandchildren.

Betty was a member of the Sheldon Church of Christ. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, crocheting, and animals.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Prairie Dell Cemetery near Iroquois with Rev. Van Haas officiating.

Memorials may be given to Sheldon Church of Christ or Donor’s Choice.

Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
