Mary Ann Thomas, 86, of Watseka passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at her home in Watseka. She was born on September 23, 1935 in Gibson City, the daughter of Harvey C. and Margaret (King) Reynolds. She married Oscar Thomas on November 19, 1952 and he preceded her in passing in September 2006.

Surviving are one son, Jeff (Darla) Thomas of Watseka and one daughter in law, Sue Thomas of Texas; four grandchildren, Lisa, Sarah, Megan (Bobby) McDaniels, and Jeff Jr.; eight great grandchildren, Tessa, Katie, Samantha, Austin, Roderick, Briel, Jo’leigh, and Emonie; two great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, one sister, and one son, Danny.

Mary worked at UARCO. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and playing cards.

Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon. Rev. Joe Hughes will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.
