Marian L. Cluver, 93, of Watseka

Marian L. Cluver, 93, of Watseka passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Piper City Rehab in Piper City. She was born on February 9, 1928, in Ashkum, the daughter of Leo and Edna (Engehausen) Reynolds. She married Lawson E. Bleich in Buckley on June 22, 1947 and he preceded her in passing on November 21, 1992. She later married Paul Cluver on August 7, 1994 in Watseka and he preceded her in passing on April 24, 2016.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen (Dean) Storm of Ashkum and Beth (Mike) Warren of Watseka; two grandchildren, Catherine (Nicolas) Long and Benjamin Warren; three great grandsons, Everett, Oliver, and Alden Long.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; three brothers; one sister and brother in law, Arlene and Herb Kaufmann; and one son, Dean Bleich.

Marian was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. She was a nurse’s aid and unit secretary at Iroquois Memorial Hospital for fifteen years. Marian enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, and playing cards.

Private funeral services will be held at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Rev. Aaron Uphoff will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka, American Diabetes Association, or Donor’s Choice.
