Sandra K. McCalla, 76, of Milford passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at her home. She was born on January 5, 1945 in Atlantic City, NJ, and raised in rural Indiana, the daughter of Carl and Thelma Irene (Wilson) Bressie.

 

She married Orville “Dick” McCalla Jr. on January 28, 1967 in Wolcott, IN and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

 

Sandra is survived by one son, Sean (Becky) McCalla of Milford, one daughter, Shannon Stocking of Paxton; five grandchildren, Sgt. Alec Stocking of Fort Riley, KS, 2nd Lt. Erin Stocking of Lincoln, NE, Hannah (T.J.) Kummerfeldt of Cortland, IN, Emma Stocking (Tim Tabor) of Paxton, and Kendall McCalla of Milford; and one sister, Lois (Dan) Farrell of Bradenton, FL.

 

Mrs. McCalla was a member of the Milford Christian Church and the Iroquois County Bootkickers. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, reading, knitting, and spending time with family.

 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Milford Christian Church in Milford. Rev. Gary Milton will officiate. Burial will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.
