Lucille Vivian Johnson, 105, of Onarga passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at her home in Onarga. She was born on March 23, 1915 in Hazel Crest, IL, the daughter of Hugo and Alma (Wadman) Sowdergren. She married Carl John Johnson in Harvey, IL on September 30, 1938 and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are one daughter, Carol Brinkman of Onarga; one granddaughter, Lauren (James) Osman of Homewood; two great grandchildren, Colleen (Justin) Carter of Cary and Cole Osman of Homewood; and five great-great grandchildren, Tristan, Madylin, Jacob, Ava, and Hudson.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientists in Boston. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as following politics.

Private interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
