Florence M. Pew, 95 of Watseka passed away on March 18, 2020 at the Iroquois Resident Home in Watseka. She was born on December 19, 1924 in Chicago, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. George Woodman. Florence married Russell Pew in Kankakee on October 9, 1942 and he preceded her in death on June 18, 2006.

 

Survivors include one son, Ronald (Patricia) Pew of Hedgesville, WV; one daughter, Sharon (Jim) Ward of Crescent City; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Florence was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Watseka.

 

Private graveside services will be held on Friday March 20, 2020 at G.A.R. Cemetery in Watseka with Pastor Kara Berg officiating.

 

Arrangements are by the Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
