Duane “Red” Munsterman, 90, of Cissna Park passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Westminster Village in Terre Haute, IN.

Red was born October 26, 1928 in Crescent City, the son of Walter H. and Linda Bruens Munsterman and they both preceded him in death.

He is survived by one son, Chad J. (Becky) Munsterman of Bloomington; one daughter, Cathy (Jerome “Jerry”) Bollettieri of New York; one sister, Valletta Maravola of Roanoke, VA; three grandchildren, Brandon Munsterman of Indiana, and Travis Bollettieri and Jared Bollettieri of New York; five great-grandchildren; and four nephews.

Mr. Munsterman was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cissna Park. He served on the Cissna Park school board as well as the Cissna Park town board. He also served as a volunteer firefighter. Red enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was also a dedicated Chicago Bears fan.

In honor of Red’s wishes, there will be no formal services. However, the family welcomes you to join us graveside at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM CST. Rev. Tim Hahn will officiate.
