Daniel Leo “Dan” Hendron, 64, of Clifton, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Dan was born on April 24, 1954 in Kankakee; the son of William “Dee” and Patricia (Frake) Hendron. Dan married Barbara Pheifer on October 14, 1978 at Assumption BVM in Ashkum. Dan worked as a general contractor throughout the area for many years. During his leisure time Dan was a member of the Clifton Lions Club, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching all sports, he especially enjoyed watching his sons grow up playing various sports.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Barb Hendron, his sons Nathan Hendron of Clifton and Aaron Hendron Crest Hill, IL, 4 grandchildren, a sister Stacey (Steve ) Anderson of Downers Grove, his brothers: Tim (Andrea) Hendron of Naperville, Julie Nakaerts of Watseka, Lindy (Debbie) Nakaerts of Florida, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
To honor Dan’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded by Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton.

The family will host a memorial gathering at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton on Monday, January 21, from 4-7 pm. A memorial service will be on Tuesday, January 22, at 11 am at the funeral home.

Those who wish may leave memorials in Dan’s name to the Family of Dan Hendron to be donated to a charity of their choice.
