Teresa Lynn Anderson (Kleckner) went to be with Our Lord on January 10, 2019 after a short yet intense battle with cancer.
Teresa was born May 20, 1963 to the late Judith Savoree and Lynn Kleckner in Hammond, Indiana. Lynn survives along with her stepfather Michael Savoree.
She is survived by and the best mother of Christopher Herchuée (Watseka), Sarah Herchuée and Mario (Chicago) and David Herchuée (Watseka). She is the grandmother of Christopher Herchuée Jr, Nayeli Sanchez, and Ashley, Osvaldo, and Marianita Sanchez. She is the sister of Dale and Jane Moore (Hobart, IN), David and Renae Kleckner (Bloomington, IL), Rick and Crystal Kleckner (Clinton, IL), Mary and Dan Disosway (Sheldon, IL), Tim and Elaine Kleckner (Tallassee, TN), Tina and Tim Rosen (Lafayette, IN), Brenda and Mike Babaj (Sweetwater, TN) and Michele and Scott Webster (Martinton, IL), and her loving dog, Sadie.
She was preceded in death by her mother Judith Savoree, one sister Deborah Lynn Kleckner, and one nephew Brent Kleckner, one niece Sabrina Kleckner and her Uncle Butch Hansen.
Teresa had a talent in craft work such as crocheting and cross-stitching. She enjoyed making people happy through small gestures and acts of kindness. Her favorite saying was ‘Be Kind to One Another.’ She really enjoyed her time with her grandkids and spoiling them. They were her pride and joy.
Teresa was a blessing in so many lives. She would have done anything for anyone. Throughout her life she was a care giver to many. Though this is a time of sadness, it is also a time of relief as we all know Teresa is not suffering anymore.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Rev. Gary Milton will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois.
