Maynard W. Harris, 66, of Milford passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. He was born on July 25, 1951 in Watseka, the son of Donald N. and Hazel Jennings Harris and they preceded him in death in addition to one brother, Joe Harris.

He married Nancy Robertson on June 27, 1970 in Milford and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jason (Nicole) Harris of Kankakee and Josh (Melissa) Harris of Watseka; one daughter, Shannon Kinder of Plainfield; one sister, Nada (Bruce) Pfingsten of Watseka; seven grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Harris was a member of the Milford Christian Church. He owned and operated Maynard’s Plumbing for over 30 years and formerly co-owned R&H Hardware in Milford. Maynard served on the Milford Fire Department and EMS for many years.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the 2:00 pm memorial service on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Brent Zastrow and Rev. Gary Milton will officiate.
