NEWTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE (9-26-19 8:38AM))

 

On September 24, 2019 at approximately 8:25PM, the Newton County Sheriff’s Office and Morocco Police Department were serving a warrant on 20 year old Leonard Goetz.

Due to observations made by the officers during the service, a drug investigation was conducted.

 

As a result, three arrests were made.

20 year old Leonard F. Goetz for 2 outstanding Newton County failure to appear warrants (driving while suspended and leaving the scene)

24 year old Austin L. Nelson, on probable cause for possession of Methamphetamine and Neglect of a Dependant.

22 year old Savanna F. Goetz on probable cause for possession of Methamphetamine, Neglect of a Dependant and Possession of Paraphernalia.

 

All suspects are considered innocent unless/until proven guilty in a court of law.

Assisting agencies: DNR Conservation officer, Drug Task Force, Brook Police, Newton County Dispatch and Newton County Sheriff’s Reserves.
