On September 15th, 2019 Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Jason M. Behrends, age 44, of Ashkum, According to police reports, Jason was charged with Theft over $500. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond.
On September 15th, 2019th Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Matthew M. Hofer, age 36, of Hoopeston, According to police reports, Matthew was wanted on an outstanding Iroquois County Warrant, charging him with driving while license revoked. He was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains jn lieu of bond.
On September 15th, 2019 Iroquois County Sheriff's Police investigated a single vehicle accident in the parking tot of Friendly Fred's Fuel gas station in Gilman, According to police reports, a vehicle driven by Diana Davis, age 64, wag driving around the outside of the building when she struck a cement pote barrier, No injuries or citations were issued.
On September 13th, 2019 Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a three vehicle accident near the intersection of S, 2nd St. and W. Koplin Ave. in Cissna Park. According to police repons William loneecu, age 20, of Lincolnwood {J. was traveling North on S. 2nd St, near the intersection with W. Koplin Ave, when he fell asleep, William would strike a tree awakening him. William would proceed to lose control of his vehicle striking an unoccupied parked vehicle, and the Cissna Park Police Department squad car which was parked but occupied by Ofc. Ken Ward. Ofc. Ken ward would be transported to IMH by Cjssna Park EMS for minor injuries, lonescu WOU!d be issued a citation for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
