On the morning of Tuesday, August 6th, 2019, an autopsy was performed at the Brian R. Mitchell Forensic Center in Kankakee County, on the 17 year old female located deceased inside the residence of 49 year old Arthur C. Jensen on the evening of August 5th, 2019. Preliminary autopsy results showed that the female died of Ligature Strangulation. Toxicology and other forensic tests will be performed by the Forensic lab of the Illinois State Police as the investigation continues.

  The female victim’s name will not be released at this time due to her age.

   Arthur C. Jensen appeared in the Iroquois County Court in front of Judge James Kinzer on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 6th, 2019. Jensen’s bond was set at $1,000,000.00 10% and a public defender was temporarily appointed. Jensen’s next court appearance is on Thursday, August 8th 2019 at 1:30PM at the Iroquois County Court House.
