A total of 5 children entered the 2019 Lil’ Mr. & Miss Firecracker contest.  This year’s contest consisted of a coloring contest for area children ages 3 through 7. Lil Mr. Firecracker is Jax Johnson of Watseka, Illinois. Jax is 7 years old and is the son of Sawyer Johnson and Sarah Johnson  Lil Miss Firecracker is Karsyn Valentine of Watseka, Illinois. Karsyn is 3 years old and is the daughter of Terri Valentine and Jerry Wireman.   The winners will ride in the 2019 City of Watseka “Made in America” Independence Day Parade on July 4th beginning at 10:00 a.m.   All of the coloring sheets will be on display at the Chamber office until the 4th of July located at 110 South 3rd Street in Watseka.
