WHEN:  Wednesday, October 17, 2018, 4:05 p.m.       VEHICLE:  Unit One:  1995 Green Chevrolet S10    Unit Two:  2003 Silver GMC Van    Unit Three:  2014 Freightliner Semi             DRIVER:  Unit One:  Patricia J. Allford, 70, Sheldon    Unit Two:  Howard R. Kissack, 82, Watseka    Unit Three:  Daniel D. Morgan, 53, Terre Haute, IN 
 
PASSENGER: Unit Two:  Michael H. Strong, 56, Rockford 
 
PRELIMINARY:  Preliminary investigation has indicated the Chevrolet was traveling eastbound on Route 24 behind the Semi.  The Chevrolet attempted to pass the Semi and struck the GMC head on, which was traveling westbound on Route 24.   Both vehicles then struck the rear of the Semi.  The passenger of the GMC was airlifted from the scene to Carle Hospital in Urbana. The drivers the Chevrolet and the GMC were transported to Iroquois Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to Carle Hospital.  
CHARGES: Patricia Allford was issued a citation for Improper Lane Usage.
