Illinois State Police DUI Arrests

 Illinois State Police (ISP) District 21 is reporting the arrest of Korrey W. Farley, 26, of Momence; David G. Marshall, 52, of Manteno; Babar Kamal, 25, of Oak Forest; Alexander J. Gibson, 30, of St. Anne; Gerald J. Housam, 46, of Huntley; and Paul J. Childers, 32, of Kankakee all for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. 
 
On July 13, 2018 at approximately 3:18 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling 30 mph in a 55 mph zone and swerving all over the roadway on Route 17 at Exline Road.  The trooper stopped the vehicle a spoke with the driver, Korrey Farley.  Farley showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Farley was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Farley was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to carry driver’s license on person, and failure to notify the secretary of state of address change. 
 
On July 14, 2018 at approximately 1:37 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit and swerving all over the roadway on 9000 N Road.  The trooper stopped the vehicle a spoke with the driver, David Marshall.  Marshall showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Marshall was placed under arrest and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  Marshall was also issued citations speeding and improper lane usage. 
 
On July 14, 2018 at approximately 8:53 A.M, an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Route 17 at 4594 W. Road.  The trooper arrived on scene and spoke with the driver, Babar Kamal.  Kamal showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Kamal was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Kamal was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of open alcohol, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.    
 
 
 On July 15, 2018 at approximately 2:16 A.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit and swerving all over the roadway on Route 17 at Sandbar Road.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Alexander Gibson.  Gibson showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Gibson was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Gibson was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for speeding and improper lane usage.   
 
On July 16, 2018 at approximately 8:39 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was dispatched to a vehicle driving recklessly on Route 45, approximately 2 miles south of Buckley.  The trooper was able to catch up with the vehicle on 1190 N at 550 E Road in Iroquois County.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Gerald Housam.  Housam showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Housam was placed under arrest and transported to the Iroquois County Jail for processing.  Housam was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. 
 
On July 16, 2018 at approximately 10:53 P.M., an Illinois State Trooper was on patrol in Kankakee County.  The trooper observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit and swerving all over the roadway on I-57 southbound at milepost 319.  The trooper stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Paul Childers.  Childers showed signs of alcohol impairment.  Childers was placed under arrest and transported to the Kankakee County Jail for processing.  Childers was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and issued citations for speeding and illegal transportation of open alcohol.

The public is reminded that all persons are presumed innocent until the charges are proven in a court of law.
