Watseka Police Department News 7/17/18

Beka E Lolonde, 27 Watseka was ticketed on Friday, July 13th at 6:35 A.M. for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. Lolonde posted bond and was released.

Rony O Deleon, 36 Peoria was ticketed on Saturday, July 14th at 12:51 P.M. for no valid driver's license, Deleon posted bond and was released.

Veronica R Davis, 34 Milford was arrested on Saturday, July 14th at 5:35 A.M. on an Iroquois county warrant charging her with retail theft. Davis was transported to the Iroquois County jail,

Nicholas C Ladd, 38 Watseka was arrested on Saturday, July 14th at 10:15 AM. for violation of an order of protection. Ladd was transported to the Iroquois County jail.

Neal J Bonds, 36 Sheldon was arrested on Sunday, July 15th at 12:10 A.M. for Driving while license revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Bonds was transported to the Iroquois County jail.

Christopher H Moody, 23 Bourbonnais was arrested Sunday July 15th at

1:53 A.M. for Possession of cannabis over 30 grams, Possession of

 

 

cannabis with intent to deliver, Illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no front registration plate. Moody was transported to the Iroquois County jail.

Melinda R Miller, 36 Watseka was arrested Sunday, July 15th at 6:28

PIM. for retail theft. Miller was transported to the Iroquois County jail.

Watseka Police were dispatched to an alarm call at 6:37 A.M. in the 1400 block of E Walnut on July 13th . Police responded and found the alarm to be false.

Watseka Police responded to a disturbance at 10:21 A.M. in the 200 block of N Fourth on July 13th .

Watseka Police responded to a report of a violation of an order of protection in the 200 block of E Fairman at 12:06 P.M. on July 13th. upon arrival the offender had fled the area.

Watseka Police responded to a report of a counterfeit $100 bill in the 1700 block of E Walnut at 12:59 P.M. on July 13th ,

Watseka Police assisted the Iroquois County Sheriff's Department regarding a suspicious person in the 1800 block of E I-JS Highway 24 at 1:28 P.M. on July 13th .

Watseka Police responded to a second report of a violation of an order of protection in the 200 block of E Fairman at 4:07 P.M. on July 13th. upon arrival, Police again found the offender had fled.

Watseka Police responded to a civil matter at 4:16 P.M. in the 500 block of E Walnut on July 13th ,

Watseka Police responded to the 400 block of W Walnut at 5:28 P.M. on July 13th regarding a syringe that had been found on the sidewalk. Police disposed of the item.

Watseka Police investigated a report of trespassing to an abandoned building in the 100 block of N Kay at 3:05 P.M. on July 14th .

Watseka Police were called to the 1500 block of E Walnut regarding a report of shots fired at 7:10 P.M. on July 14th . Further investigation by Police led them to find that a male subject had accidentally discharged his pistol while he was in that area.

Watseka Police were called to the 200 block of W Locust at 7:23 P.M. on July 14th regarding a burglary complaint.

Watseka Police were called to the 800 block of N Jefferson regarding a business check at 10:52 P.M. on July 14th .

Watseka Police responded to a report of an intoxicated person in the 100 block of W oak at 6:41 A.M. on July 15 th .

Watseka Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 500 block of E Walnut at 8:51 A.M. on July 15th .

Watseka Police responded to a report of an alarm at a business in the 300 block of W Mulberry at 3:12 A.M. on July 17th . Police found the alarm to be false.

Watseka Police responded to a report of a vehicle complaint in the 500 block of S Third at 3:22 A.M. on July 17th .

Watseka Police investigated a three vehicle accident in the 200 block of W Walnut at 4:44 P.M. on July 16th . According to Police reports, A vehicle driven by Benjamin M Laird, 34 Watseka was Eastbound on Walnut and did not realize traffic was stopped. Laird's vehicle then struck a vehicle driven by Kelton D Musgraves, 18 Woodland. The Impact the pushed Musgrave's vehicle into a vehicle driven by Gary A Martin, 64 Milford, No citations were issued.

Watseka Police investigated a two vehicle accident at 6:05 P.M. on July 16th on Jackson near Fourth. According to Police reports a vehicle driven by Nina Varbounker, 93 Watseka struck a vehicle driven by Shirley B Verkler, 66 Watseka. No Citations were issued.

Watseka Police ticketed Maegan D Shields, 43 Danville at 1:28 A.M. on July 17th for driving while license suspended. Shields posted bond and was released.
