On April 30th , 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Co Rd.
2500 N near 879 E. According to Police reports, a vehicle driven by Steven J. Barnett, age 34, of Danforth, IL. was traveling westbound on Co Rd. 2500 N when he lost control of the vehicle and went into the south ditch impacting with the dirt embankment. Barnett was transported to Riverside Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle sustained over $1500 in damages. Barnett was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no valid drivers license, and driving while under the influence. Barnett was transported to Iroquois County Jail where he later posted bond and was released.
On April 30th , 2018, Christopher R. Powell, age 23, of Danville, IL. turned himself in to the Iroquois County Jail to start serving his 44 day sentence for grooming.
On May 2nd , 2018, Jennifer L. Cronch, age 34, of Rankin, IL. turned herself in to the Iroquois County Jail for an outstanding Iroquois County warrant for failure to appear for driving while license is suspended.
On May 2nd, 2018, Iroquois County Sheriffs Police arrested Kyle D. Blackburn, age 32, of Cissna Park, IL. According to police reports, Blackburn was wanted on outstanding Iroquois County warrant for probation revocation for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Blackburn was transported to the Iroquois County Jail where he remains in lieu of bond.
