Police investigated an accident which occurred on Thursday March 22,2018 at 11:35 A.M. on E. Locust St. at the intersection with S. 5th Street. A vehicle driven by Faith L. Garza, 38 of Watseka was east bound on Locust St. and stopped at the stop sign for 5th Street, She then started to enter the intersection when she suddenly stopped for a vehicle coming south on 5th Street. A vehicle behind Garza, driven by Mary A. Cluver, 67 of Watseka, was not able to stop in time and struck the rear of Garza's vehicle. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
