On January 25th, 2018 Iroquois County Sheriff's Police investigated a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Co. Rd. 1100 N. and Co. Rd, 000 E, According to police reports, a vehicle driven by Elisa Salazar, age 40, of Onarga was traveling west on Co. Rd. 1100 N. when a deer entered the roadway, Salazar maneuvered to avoid the deer and proceeded through the intersection and entered ditch. Salazar's vehicle sustained over $1500 in damage and no citations were issued.
