1. Police investigated an accident which occurred on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at 9:03 A.M. on S. S'h St. at the intersection with E. Mulberry Street. A vehicle driven by Tracy J. Parks, 43 of Mitchell, South Dakota was east bound on Mulberry Street. Mitchell stopped at the stop sign at 5th St. and proceeded into the intersection, when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle south bound on 5th St. driven by Garrett M. White, 16 of Watseka. White did not see Mitchell's vehicle due to ice on his windshield and struck Mitchell's vehicle in the driver's side. No injuries were reported. White was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. He posted bond and was released.

 

2. Police investigated an accident which occurred on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. in the Watseka High School parking lot. A vehicle driven by Blanca I. Jimenez-Cruz, 17 of Watseka was driving in the parking lot, when she struck a parked vehicle owned by Jacquelyn E. Shantz of Watseka. This pushed Shantz's vehicle into another parked vehicle owned by Wade M. Bell of Crescent City. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued,
