Mason Dale Knorr, 24, of rural Clifton passed away as a result of an early morning accident which occurred near his home on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Funeral services for Mr. Knorr will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. The Rev. Vern Arseneau will officiate. Burial will follow the services in the Clifton Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 until 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home in Clifton. Memorials may be made for the Family’s Wishes.
Mr. Knorr was born on March 8, 1994 in Kankakee, the son of Gregory D. and Sheila A. Meyer Knorr and they survive in Clifton. He is also survived by three brothers, Lane (Danielle Buff) Knorr, Austin (Ashley Collins) Knorr and Kenton Knorr all of Clifton; his maternal grandparents, Judy and Vernon Meyer of Chebanse and his paternal grandmother, Judy Laurent of Kankakee; and four nieces and nephews, Tinley Knorr, Bria Knorr, Masin Buff and Lilly Plumley. He was preceded in death by two paternal grandfathers, Dale Knorr and Tom Laurent.
Mr. Knorr graduated from Central High School at Clifton. He was currently employed as a metal fabricator for Feld Entertainment in the Monster Truck Industry. He loved monster trucks, demolition derbies and fishing. He enjoyed spending weekends with his many friends. He loved life and had a heart of gold, his motto was the adage “Live Wild and Free”.
