Nathan Michael Walwer, 34, of Watseka passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Watseka. He was born September 20, 1983 in Janesville, WI, the son of Terry Lee Walwer and Pamela Jean Leppard.
He married Brittiney Geisler on February 13, 2015 in Watseka and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Kasen Michael Walwer of Watseka and Khristopher Gamino of Watseka; father and step-mother, Terry (Valorie) Walwer of Watseka; mother, Pamela Jean Williams of Watseka; three brothers, Chad Walwer of Watseka, Joseph (Lexi) Walwer of Thomasboro and Michael McGary of Eaton Rapids, MI; two sisters, Alicia (Matt) Wilkins of North Dakota and Melissa (Josh) DeLahr of Crescent City; one step-daughter, Angelina Resendez of Hoopeston; and one step-son, Rafael Resendez of Hoopeston.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don & Ruth Leppard and Alice Riston; paternal grandfather, Charles Walwer; grandfather, James Alder; and two brothers, Christopher Walwer and Terry Lee Walwer Jr.
Nathan loved fishing, sports, and spending time with his son.
A memorial visitation will be from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am memorial service on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Centennial Christian Church in Watseka. Danny Tincher and Randy Godby will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Iroquois Memorial Park in Watseka.
Memorials may be made for the family’s wishes.
