Ronald Krumwiede 75 of Cissna Park

Ronald A. Krumwiede, 75, of Cissna Park passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Heartland Health Care Center in Paxton. He was born August 16, 1942 in Watseka, the son of Adolph F. and Frieda Seggebruch Krumwiede and they preceded him in death.

He married Shirley Hauptli on November 5, 1961 at Ash Grove and she survives. He is also survived by three daughters, Dana (Bob) McKeown of Englewood, FL, Deanne (Joe) Rothermel of Broadlands and Dawn (Jay) Martin of Mahomet; one son, Derek (Elissa) Krumwiede of Cissna Park; six grandchildren, Taylor (Marcus) Powers, Chelsea (Zach) Wilkins, Landon Martin, Rianna & Torie Rothermel, and Tara Krumwiede; one great-grandson, Ezekiel Wilkins; two sisters, Ruth Ann Cluver of Buckley and Janie Fritchley of Cissna Park; and one brother, Rich (Glenda) Krumwiede of Cissna Park.

Mr. Krumwiede attended the Apostolic Christian Church in Cissna Park. He was a lifelong farmer, owned & operated Krumwiede Farm Supply in Cissna Park, and was the manager & a salesman at Fast Distributing in Gilman until he retired. He loved fishing and camping with and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Apostolic Christian Church in Cissna Park. Ministers of the Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Cissna Park.

Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 pm on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Cissna Park and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Church in Cissna Park, Alzheimer’s Association or Donor’s Choice.
