Kathryn Day, 61, of Sheldon, IL, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

She was born on October 12, 1956 in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Delbert Trobaugh and Carol (Bray) Trobaugh-Brammer.

Kathryn served in the ARMY. She worked as a CNA for over 10 years, before becoming a cook, and then eventually a homemaker. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and horses. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving Ms. Day is two sons, Joshua Christman of Fort Collins, CO and Ryan (Alicia) Hansen of West Chester, PA; daughter, Jennifer (Andrew) Eheart of Watseka; brothers, Michael (Susan) Trobaugh of Kankakee, and David (Mary) Trobaugh of Clifton; grandchildren, Hannah and Lilian Eheart; and nieces and nephew, Amanda (Robert) Jamieson of Bourbonnais, Megan (Jeremy) Berns of Hersher, and Seth Trobaugh of Clifton.

She is also preceded in death by her paretns; step-father, Donald Brammer; and one son, Jeffrey.

A Gathering of Friends will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 12pm (Noon) until the 2pm Memorial Service, at Baier Funeral home in Watseka. Pastor Ric Olson will officiate.

Burial will follow services at Lyman Cemetery in Watseka, IL.
